Blending the sounds of folk, indie rock, and psychedelia, Lenina Crowne's laid back groove, intricate lyrics and catchy saxophone breaks make for an atmosphere that both relaxes and engages the crowd. Formed in the year AF105 (AD 2013 in the Gregorian calendar) by singer songwriter Eric Faust, Lenina Crowne has evolved to become a major contributor to both the Penn State University and local State College music scene. They have shared the stage with various bands such as Fitz and the Tantrums, Rusted Root, and Aloe Blacc while thoroughly enjoying weekly shows at the local hot spots. With the recent release of their EP "Try A Gramme" in 2015, the band seamlessly delivers a combination of melodic ballads and rock grooves that is as esoteric as it is universal. Through playing shows and working on their next dystopian release, Lenina Crowne hopes to continue to engage audiences around the world with groovy music, slightly funny jokes, and her outrageous good looks.
